Terms and conditions of entry

  1. I certify that as the applicant I have personally completed my entry into the TUANZ Contact Centre Awards 2009 in association with IDC New Zealand.
  2. I certify that I have been in the role I am entering an award for a minimum of 9 of the 12 months of the Calendar Year 2008.
  3. I certify that as the entrant for the Contact Manager (less than 50 seats, 50+ seats) of the Year 2009 that I am accountable for the total, day-to-day operational management of an entire Contact Centre located on one site or multiple sites.
  4. I certify that as the entrant for the Contact Centre Team Leader/Manager of the Year 2009 that I am accountable for the total, day-to-day operational management of a team of Contact Centre representatives located on one site.
  5. I certify that as the entrant for the Contact Centre Trainer of the Year 2009 that I have been in a training role for at least 9 months. That I am either accountable for the day-to-day training operation within a contact centre or I will provide written material that demonstrates that I have developed at least two different contact centre training courses during January – December 2008. That as an entrant I will provide documentation that confirms that at least 384 hours of training was delivered in a contact centre environment during this time.
  6. I certify that as the entrant for Workforce Manager of the Year 2009 that I am accountable for the total, day-to-day WFM operation involving Contact Centre representatives.
  7. I certify that as an entrant into the Outsourced Contact Centre of the Year 2008, that the information provided accurately represents our outsource operation providing services for XXXXXX businesses located on one site or multiple sites.
  8. TUANZ reserves the right to extend the closure date for entries in any category and to approach NZ businesses to encourage late entries.
  9. There must be sufficient entries in a category to ensure a competitive, high calible contest occurs and that the integrity of the awards is sound, if there is not sufficient entries in a category, TUANZ and IDC reserve the right to cancel an award for the year.
  10. There will be a winner announced from amongst the entrants in each category that has sufficient number of entries.
  11. I have read and understood the ‘Important Information section (below).
  12. I agree to abide by the general and specific conditions, and the judging process.

 

Important Information

  • Entries are encouraged from all New Zealand Contact Centres, their Managers, Team Leaders/Managers, Trainers and Workforce Managers.
  • Entry forms into all categories of the TUANZ Contact Centre Awards must be completed in full by the applicants themselves.
  • For any entry to be accepted the entry form must be correctly filled out and completed in full.
  • When completing your entry, please provide KPI’s and examples for the last 12 months, January – December 2008.
  • Seat numbers are categorized as the number of full time equivalent seats in your Contact Centre. If you have a virtualized operation you may enter a Manager of a specific site in the Manager Category, and the Centre as a whole in the Centre Category. If your FTE seat numbers have changed during the year and you are not sure of what category to enter, please contact TUANZ and we will advise you of the correct category to enter.
  • All correctly completed entries must be received no later than, 5pm Monday 15 June 2009.
  • During round one judging a telephone call to entrants by the category judges may be required to clarify entry content.
  • Should an entrant make it through to the 2nd  round of judging, you will need to be available for a 2 hour site visit or phone conference.
  • Entrants can provide supporting documentation or materials that can be sent to the IDC Office, clearly identified by 5pm Monday 15th June 2009.
  • An awards mentor will be available to answer queries about entering into a category. Please email cocego@idc.com and your query will be attended to within 48hrs.
  • TUANZ Contact Centre Award finalists may request feedback from the judges of the category they entered. This will be via audio conference with two award judges. Should you wish to have a feedback session you must contact to the IDC office by 5pm Friday 28th August 2009.
  • The winners of the TUANZ Contact Centre Awards 2009 will be announced at the blacktie dinner held at The Hilton Hotel, Auckland.It is expected that all finalists will attend the awards ceremony on Tuesday 18th August 2009.
