The National Health IT Board in partnership with TUANZ is holding a series of community workshops around the country.
The free workshops will explain and discuss what is meant by shared care patient records and why this is the first important step in creating a 21st Century national health system that is enhanced by better broadband connectivity.
There will be plenty of opportunity for feedback during the workshops - indeed we are hoping that people will feel comfortable sharing their views and experiences - as well as the opportunity to meet National Health IT Board Director Graeme Osborne, local health professionals and TUANZ CEO Ernie Newman.
TUANZ members are invited to attend the following workshops:
Palmerston North Monday 5 July, 3pm – 7pm
Rotorua Tuesday 6 July, 3pm – 7pm
Whangarei Wednesday 21 July, 3pm – 7pm
Manukau City Thursday 22 July, 3pm – 7pm
Christchurch Thursday 29 July, 3pm – 7pm
Dunedin Friday 30 July, 3pm – 7pm
Hamilton Tuesday 17 August, 3pm – 7pm
North Shore City Wednesday 18 August, 3pm – 7pm
