The Telecommunications Journalist of the Year will be selected for their overall contribution to users of telecommunications. TUANZ will engage an independent, recognised media authority to judge the Award. Entries will be judged on the following criteria:

20 points - Depth and originality of research
20 points - Innovation/ uniqueness of angle
20 points - How well the writer has understood his/her audience
20 points - The quality of the writing/report in terms of clarity, and readability/ flow of report
20 points - To what extent the reader will be informed, inspired and provoked

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Entrants will need to submit a portfolio of three published or broadcast pieces. Please email these to the judging coordinator and clearly identify what entry the supporting documentation supports.
Please include a 300 word resume for each piece outlining: How each story arose How the story was pursued The difficulties faced in putting the piece together
