Velocity Networks operate a vibrant open access Ultra Fast Broadband network around Hamilton. We connect a broad range of customers ranging from DHBs, corporates, small business and residential customers to our ultra fast broadband network and in turn to a range of retail service providers. The company continues to develop and test new and innovative ways of lowering our construction and operational costs in order to reduce telecommunications cost to your customers - and so that we can better meet the government’s goal of ultra fast broadband to 75% of New Zealand.
Why is Velocity Networks a TUANZ member?
We see benefit in attending the insightful roadshows (After 5s) that TUANZ delivers which bring a range of industry leaders to our region, often with global perspectives.
We’ve also attended national events such as Telecommunications Day and the Rural Broadband Symposium for networking and business growth opportunities.
We applaud the TUANZ crusade to reduce Mobile Termination Rates (MTR) in New Zealand and to encourage competition at all levels of the telecommunications industry.
