EVENTS

Join us at the March TUANZ After 5s hosted by Gen-i

Water cooler conversations are focused on state of the mobility and telecommunications industry in New Zealand. This is your opportunity to hear first hand from Gen-i on what the future landscape will look like for the ICT industry in New Zealand.

Joe Caccioppoli, Gen-i’s head of mobile, and Aaron McDonald, Gen-i’s marketing manager, will talk about what Telecom is doing to optimise the XT mobile network and where Gen-i is investing to support the changing needs of New Zealand ICT solutions. The floor will then be open to you to ask any questions you have and provide your thoughts on what the future looks like for ICT in New Zealand.

Do your staff know their PSTN from their WAN?

If not, send them on Telecomms in a Nutshell – a one-day telecommunications course for non-technical professionals working within or entering the telecommunications industry.

This TUANZ Training course demystifies some of the telecommunications industry’s puzzling concepts, quirky acronyms and unique language.

Telecomms in a Nutshell is run by telecommunications guru Don Wallace each month in both Auckland and Wellington. Topics covered include telephony and data concepts, the public telephone network, mobile data and telephony, competition and regulation, fibre optic and copper network technologies.

Each course is strictly limited to 20 participants so be quick to register here.
