Harassment and bullying in the workplace
Harassment and bullying is unacceptable in the workplace. Harassment is seen as unwelcome comments or conduct or gesture that are insulting, intimidating, humiliating, malicious, degrading or offensive. Bullying is ongoing unreasonable behaviour which is often intended to humiliate or undermine the recipient but is not specifically unlawful. Smokefree Environment Act 1990
We all know about the Smokefree Act, in and around our workplaces and that (with some limited exceptions) it must be 100 percent smokefree. This includes licensed premises, factories, offices, warehouses, ‘smoko’ rooms and work canteens.

Privacy Act 1993
The Privacy Act was passed in April 1993. The Act applies to almost every person, business or organisation in New Zealand. It sets out 12 information privacy principles, which guide how personal information can be collected, used, stored and disclosed. To know more check out this link. go here>
