Presentations from the recent TUANZ Teleworking 2008 conference, presented in association with Cisco, are now available for download online.
The conference covered a wide range of topics relating to operating a remote or flexible workforce.
Sessions included an international keynote delivered by Cris Palauni, manager of reservations of JetBlue Airways, who manages a team of 1500 reservations staff who all work from home.
Local case studies were provided by Prue Jacobson of Unisys and Michael Foley of Voco, which describes itself as a “company without walls” as all 30 of its staff work from home.
Sara Tucker of the Hospitality Association of New Zealand meanwhile offered an employee’s Perspective on teleworking as she is one of eight regional managers who work from home offices.
Speakers from Premier Sponsor Cisco and supporting sponsors Asnet and TelstraClear gave insight into the technology which enables teleworking.
