OK so those of you who entered our sweepstake were all wrong. David Cunliffe here at the TUANZ Telecommunications Day, a few seconds ago announced the new Telecommunications Commissioner.
He is Dr Ross Patterson, a New Zealand lawyer, currently working as a partner of Minter Ellison in Sydney where he heads the competition and regulatory practice. He'll take up the post on 12 July.
