Benchmarkers to be ranked

Information on benchmarking services is one of the most popular requests that TUANZ receives. So the contact centre committee decided it was time we benchmarked the benchmarkers.

We’ve assembled a list of seven companies based in New Zealand and Australia that offer benchmarking services locally. If any companies have been left off the list, then let me know.

The companies are currently listed in alphabetical order but after the membership survey that’s bound to change. This is because they will be ranked in order of best to worst according to a set of criteria that includes the following:

  • Quality of information provided on other contact centres both here and overseas.
  • Cost of service.
  • Relevancy to the industry of that contact centre (ie banking, government, electricity etc).
  • Timeliness of the report (how long the information is useful).
  • Number of recommendations from the benchmarking service that the contact centre has acted upon.

    The NZ contact centre industry needs to take a global perspective; benchmarking widely will provide this. This will assist our businesses understand relevancy as well as be useful for providing factual support for business cases. Lets have lots of NZ companies respond to the 2007 callcentres.net survey AND the Dimension Data surveys.
