Audio conferencing & mobile charges

Why, must I have to learn my lesson over and over again, yes, perhaps, it’s because I’m a slow learner, but once again as the end user I have been charged what I perceive an over inflated amount to use my mobile as my method of communication.

Why does it cost me $40.77 to dial into and participate in an audio conferencing call just because I was on my mobile!  Help me understand, Telecommunication providers why?

I’m grumpy because I used the service and at no time was I reminded of the charges. You may say, deep down I knew there would be, however my deep down wasn’t thinking and my priority was to get on the audio conference.

Why, do mobile callers have to pay a higher cost? Is it really that expensive to have a mobile user dial in? Help me understand.

I went looking on the main telecommunication provider websites, they all talk about it, but I couldn’t spend all day looking for the costs of their audio conferencing.  Don’t get me wrong, good idea, good service; I just struggle to understand the costs for mobile users.  As I’m not a big business, this amount, leap out of my account and slapped me in the face.  It is a large amount for a small business. I don’t have the opportunity to get flash deals that big businesses get when negotiating with their providers’.

Sadly I have to change how I work in the future when it comes to audios, and it’s most likely the expense of my current flexible working day. So excuse me, as I’m not feeling the love for any telecommunication providers this week.
