As a follow on from Ernie’s blog today, all good things must come to an end.

So it is with sadness that I sign off with TUANZ for now.  It’s been wonderful to be part of a hard working team for the last 18 months.

I’m sure everyone agrees that the contact centre conferences and awards were second to none over the years.  The award dinners only got bigger and better and louder! I can't think of a better way to celebrate how great our industry is than getting together and acknowledging quality people and centres.

To all the committee members over the years, thank you, these people made huge contributions to the contact centre section, conferences and awards, juggling these responsibilities with their own job roles.

The recession has changed the path for many businesses and managers. I hope for the better as we come out wiser and smarter and with a willingness to do things differently.

I agree with Ernie it’s been a fun ride and I enjoyed every moment and met some wonderful people and learnt a bucket load more about New Zealand contact centres and how successful they are.

I want to wish all the contact centres a successful and fabulous 2010.
