SkyCity here we come
Posted Tue 26 June 2007 @ 11:28 a.m. by Sarah
The office is a little crowded today, with delegate bags and speaker presents boxed up and ready to be transported to SkyCity. The events team hasn’t even paused for morning tea, apparently immune to the lure of the chocolate Tim Tams on the table.

Of course the reason for the buzz is the TUANZ Contact Centre Conference which begins tomorrow. The line up of speakers will cover topics as diverse as multi lingual teams, leadership and development, and the global contact centre scene. And international keynote speakers Nancy Tichbon (VP Customer Experience for Virgin in Canada) and Justin O’Sullivan (Director of Customer Experience and Business Process Improvement for Dell in Asia Pacific) will share their experience of working for two of the most famous brands in the world.

I’d like to reveal what’s in the delegate bags – but they won’t let me near them. Nor have I been allowed a peak at those gorgeous award trophies. So I have no scoops to offer Mouthpiece readers.

However I can tell you that the winner of the book competition Great to Good by Jim Collins is Warrick Craill, contact centre team leader at the Ministry of Education. Congratulations Warrick – see you at the conference tomorrow.

NOTE: Mouthpiece will be covering the conference throughout the two days with regular posts about the speakers, panel discussions and general news and views. If you can’t make it this year and there is a speaker you’d like to learn more from, put your question as a comment beneath this blog. I’ll ask the question for you and write up the answer in the blog post about that presentation.
